World Entrepreneurship Week was held at Soran University
World Entrepreneurship Week was held at Soran University On Sunday, November 19, 2023, Career Development Center/Soran University conducted a workshop on Entrepreneurship Week for students and university teachers. Several seminars and success stories of students were presented. Soran University became one of the partners of the project during the World Entrepreneurship Week, which is emphasized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and GEN Organization. At the beginning of the workshop, the opening speech was delivered by Prof. Rizgar Saeed Hussein, Vice Rector for Student Affairs, spoke about the importance of entrepreneurship for the youth and reaffirmed his support for the projects and ideas of our students. In the first part, (Mr. Venus Mushier Fares) Director of Career Development Center introduced the World Entrepreneurship Week and the World Entrepreneurship Network and talked about the importance of having such activities to develop the abilities and skills of students. Then, the lecturers of the Department of Business Management (Mr. Sabir Sadiq Abdulkhaliq) and (Mr. Zrar Mohsen Mohammed Ali) presented a seminar on the term entrepreneurship in the face of opportunities and obstacles and research on different thinking in entrepreneurship. Also, the success story was presented by Rawa Bakhshi, a student of Soran University, and in the final section, several pieces of music and songs were presented by the volunteers of the Career Development Center.
