The workshop “Finding the Paths to Success Together” was held Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Dr. Farsat Sofi, Career Development Center of Soran University (CDC), organized the first annual workshop entitled: "Together we find the paths to success" The workshop was attended by Mr. ی. د. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, Rector of Soran University, Mr. Halgurd Sheikh Najib, Supervisor of Soran Independent Administration, members of the university council, governor of Soran central district, a significant number of sixth grade graduates, teachers and students participated. The ceremony began with a standing ovation for the martyrs of the Kurdistan liberation path and the recent martyrs of Kirkuk, the heart of Kurdistan, and listening to the national anthem. Afterwards, a short video about Soran University was broadcast to introduce the participants to the faculties and departments of the university. Then Mr. P.S. ی. د. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, Rector of Soran University, delivered a speech, in which he said that the sixth grade graduates should look at the next stages of their lives with hope and optimism and be grateful to all those who play a role in education There was the giving of their abilities and skills . . . . He also said: Soran University; It is a worthy university to develop your career and fulfill your scientific and academic dreams. Then Mr. Halgurd Sheikh Najib, Supervisor of Soran Independent Administration, delivered a speech, in which he congratulated the organizers of the ceremony, and said: What pleases me is that Soran University has unique, different and rare activities . . . . Afterwards, a seminar was presented by experienced teacher Mohsin Mohammed Khalid to introduce the students to the Zankoline system and how to fill it out. In it, he explained in detail the necessary steps for students to choose their desired department, in order to be admitted to their desired place. Then, a panel entitled: "Soran University for Capacity Development", with the participation of: Nihad Nader Hamad, M. Khalil Salim Mawlod Wm. Karwan Mohammed Aziz, by Dr. Majida Ali Mala Sadiq was conducted. Then by Mr. P.S. ی. د. Sherwan Sharif Qurtas, Rector of Soran University thanked the participants. In the last paragraph; An exhibition was opened to introduce the scientific and humanities departments of Soran University. Career Development Center of Soran University is one of the most active and energetic centers of Soran University, which trains the skills of students and graduates and prepares them for the labor market. This year, in collaboration with the General Registry of Soran University, an advisory committee has been established for sixth grade high school graduates to help them fill out the application form.
